Hi! I'm Emma! I’m the pun lover, travel addict and history nerd behind The Lazy Dog Travel Co! It’s so nice to meet you!
I've always had a deep love for exploring new {to me} places. From touring ancient European cities to the many roadtrips and adventures closer to home, I’ve learned there’s no better way to learn about the past than to experience it for yourself.
In 2023, I created The Lazy Dog Travel Co. with one goal in mind: to make YOUR travel truly unforgettable, I want to help you get the most out of your trip while creating cherished memories. Why the name? Some of my favorite travel memories are family camping trips with our dog, Myah. We lost her early 2023 and I named this company in her honor.

How does it work?
Start with the intake form! I start with the basics: where you want to go, the length of your trip, the occasion, your budget and what kind of travel you like. Shortly after that, you’ll receive an email from me with a link to schedule your welcome call and consultation.
How much does it cost to work with you?
That depends on how long your vacation is, how much you want me to be involved, and what expactly you’ll need for the trip. I’ll always discuss my fees ahead of time!
I know Travel Advisors are great, but why should I book wth you?
Great question!
- Through my host agency, I have access to lots of perks and upgrades for my clients that I get to pass along, therefore giving you the most from your vacation budget!
- I focus on everyday travel. Need a hotel 3 hours away for a quick weekend retreat and some R&R? Done. Planning a girls trip and want some advice on the best bars with the right vibe for the trip? I got you. Is this your first vacation with your new boo thang and don't want to take any chances in making this the most romantic trip of their life? Say less. Point is this: you deserve the best trip, every trip, and I can help make that happen.
Can you book my flights?
Yes! I’d love to help you with flights! I do charge an additional booking fee for flights and I’d be happy to discuss it with you.
If I book with you, can I use rewards and miles?
Yes…..and no unfortunately. You can earn rewards with hotels when booking with me but unfortunately I can’t book rooms with your points or your flights with miles. I recommend using miles to book your flights then working with me on the rest of your trip.
